Romeo and Juliet

I chose this picture for Romeo and Juliet because the line in the middle represents that the two of them are not suppose to be together. On one side there is an angel and i guess a bad angel. They both are like the Montagues and the Capulets. Like in the picture you can tell that their love is forbidden as is Romeo and Juliet's love is forbidden by their family. In the end of the movie Romeo and Juliet die for their love and in this picture i can tell that they would die for each others love.

Connection to independent reading book

This book called Extras made me feel a lot of emotions but especially excited. It made me feel really excited because of everything that was happening. When you read it you can feel the adrenaline coming from the characters. This book is about a girl named Aya and she is like a nobody until she finds out that there is something that might kill the entire world. Going through this and finding this out she has a lot of people who want to kill her because she wasn't suppose to know. Nobody was suppose to know. She just put a blast on the world and whoever built this killing machine. Im not done with the book so right now she has to run for her life and protect herself. I would reccomend this book to people who interested fantasy and futristic books.

O Brother, Where Art Thou?

the book the alchemist connects to this movie o brother where art thou? because both Everett and Santiago are trying find their way to what they want. The difference of course is that well Everett was in jail and Santiago was a boy who had nothing.

My impression on the Alchemis Part 2

This image connects to the Alchemist because it shows a camel caravan crossing the desert. This image represents when Santiago meets an Englishman and they both decide to go with the caravan to cross the desert because Santiago needed to go to Egypt and the Englishman needed to find an alchemist. During their travels through the desert they stuggled to stay sane because the desert can play tricks on the mind. The picture also represents leadership through the leader of the caravan taking control of his responsibility to keep these people alive and get them safe to wherever they need to go.

Independent Reading

Hey everyone well im reading a book called Extras by Scott Westerfield. I barely started to read this book so i really dont know much about. This is a book though of the Uglys series and this is a really good series. Well this series is about the future and how people are born ugly and when popularity counts. But once they hit the age of 16 they get to become beautiful people. In every one of the books there is always someone trying to fight for the top spot for fame. And they will do anything for it. This book though is about a extra named Aya and she is at the bottom of the food chain. She is a nobody and is tyring to be a somebody. She's been trying to track down a certain group of girls who are rebels to prove that they are not just rumors. But in the end of all of this she might be ready for what she really want. FAME. i havent came across of an important passage from the book yet because im still in like th beginning of the book. I would recomend this book to people who love future stuff and who love mystery and adventure. I find myself in ways that the character and i are alike in some ways. For example, she wants to be on top and so do i. What i mean is like she wants to be on camera on the new and talked about and so do i but not in the same ways that she does. I would just want my work to be known not perticularlly me.

The Alchemist

The main character Santiago is a boy and in the story he is a shepherd and he laters becomes a crystal merchant helper. Through this he has had a dramamtic change in his character. In the beginning of the story he is just a boy who looks at life the way it presents itself and thats all, but during his travel to find this treasure he begins to learn more about life than he ever thought possible. On his quest he meets this fortune teller or gypsy and she tells him that about his treasure and that she wants 1/10 of his treasure for helpng him. She told him that his treasure was in Egypt with the pyramids. On his way to Egypt he meets a man who is very wise and he is a king; he is the King of Solomon. He tells Santiago about omens and what they meant and how life is more than just life its something special. He also tells Santiago that he only appears to people when they are trying to find their Personal Legends, and well yea he gives Santiago these stones that are called Urim and Thumim. He was told by the king that they are there to help him when he is confused , and to ask a question, but to be specific about what he asks. He's discovered that he is smarter than he really was and that there is more than one way of ooking at the way life is. He also uses omens to help him through life. Santiago now reacts different to everything than in the beginning because he has learned more about the world and there is a unversal language that everyone can speak.

Dear stephanie Meyer

Dear Stephanie Meyer,
Hey well my name is Annie Loau and I am reading the third book to the Twilight Saga, Eclispe. I really love your books so far. To tell you the truth i am in LOVE with Jacob Black and Edward Cullen. Reading your books make me sometimes wish that this world is really real. I think its great how you made Bella Swan i guess you would say immune to Edward's mind reading and especially the Voultri. When i read that Jacob kissed her at first i was mad, but then i realized that thats what he wanted to do and well that's life or their life i guess you can say. But honestly i dont think i can blame Jacob for trying. I really like Alice's character in thebook she's really cool she would be a really good sister and friend to Bella. I was wondering though what was alice doing before she went to go and look for Jasper. Oh i really love Jasper's story i think its really awesome how he came form the Confederate Army and stuff and how those little girls Lucy, Maria and well if forgot the other girls name but yea how they were able to change Jasper it was awesome, but i think it was really tinteresting to learn about Jasper's past. I never would have thought that his life befor the Cullens would have been so difficult for him. I have a question though in the book Jasper had said he had alot of scars, i was wondering if he got the them form them feeding on him or all three of the little girls just bit him? Well yea back to the book I havent finished the book yet, but im so curious about how the Cullens are going to be able to work with the werewolves. Now that would be something interesting to read. Right now Bella really annoys the hell out of me because the fact that she's so freaking stubborn. Sometimes i want to like rip her head off because she's so annoying. lol. I have to comment on the first to books though Twilight and New Moon. OMG! I fell in love with Twilight the moment i opened up the book. I really love how different your take on vampires was compared to the usual burn in the light and well yea. This love story is so addicting. That sounds weird but thats the only way i can describe this. haha well i rally like how Rosalie at first disapproved of Bella being with Edward but then when i read about why she was so mean to her i understood her story it was so sad. Oh yea who eles is left well Emmete i LOVE him he's so funny and random. i think its hilarious how he thinks that Bella's funny when really i agree with Bella i think he thinks she's funny because she's very clumsy. well yea um i also really like Carlisle and Esme their rally great parents.I wish i had parents like that. Well i have to go Bye and thatnks for reading my blog.

Good Luck later on, Annie Loau

The Alchemist

Hey well im reading a book called The Alchemist by Paulo Coelho. Its about a boy named Sanitiago and he is a shepherd. His parents wanted him to be a priest but he didnt want to, he wanted to travel. His parents supported him but told him that they didnt have enough money for him to travel and that the only way he could is if he became a shepherd. So he decided to become one. Anyways one specific thing about this book that i really like is that he opens his eyes to see what the world really is and not for what he wants it to be. This part of the book i can really connect to because alot of the times everyone always views their life as what other people or themselves want it to be instead of looking at it for what it is. I sometimes honestly do it myself. Being able to see things in a broader way also helps people to open up their minds like i have doing this. In the book Santiago is given advice by an old wise man who hes never met. Me myself personally had to get advice to open up my mind. Yea well thats pretty much it....bye!!
